The 3d Scientific and Practical Conference The Ural Peaks. Respiratory Infections 2025 was held in Ekaterinburg on October 15–16 as part of the 4th International Forum Days of Virology 2025. The event organized by the Ministry of Health of the Sverdlovsk Region, the Smorodintsev Research Institute of Influenza, and the Ural State Medical University brought together over 1,100 participants in person and online from 36 cities across Russia.

The company «Otdel Meditsinskoi Tekhniki» has been operating in the medical market for more than 23 years, the company employs more than 350 employees, the area of operating production and storage facilities is 13000 m2, the area under construction in the Titanium Valley, Special Economic Zone is 8000 m2.
It operates its own production of medical and office furniture. We manufacture new products as part of import substitution, а Registration Certificate and permit to use in health care institutions were obtained. Mass production of functional beds started in 2017; by the beginning of 2025, more than 4,500 thousand units have been produced and delivered to healthcare facilities in Russia. In 2019, the development of projects began to launch the manufacture of plastic medical products: vacuum systems for blood sampling, breathing circuits and filters.
In 2022, the construction of a production building for the manufacture and sale of medical devices began on the territory of the Titanium Valley SEZ.
