On July 7, the Academician A. P. Aleksandrov House of Scientists at the National Research Center Kurchatov Institute hosted the presentation of winning technological proposals from the Russian Science Foundation (RSF) competition for grants in memory of the prominent scientist Evgeny Velikhov. The event was attended by Andrei Fursenko, Aide to the President of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the RSF Board of Trustees; Yulia Dyakova, Director of the National Research Center (NRC) Kurchatov Institute and member of the RSF Board of Trustees; Elena Popova, Deputy Director General of the RSF; as well as representatives of the winning companies, members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and members of the scientific and business communities.

Within the framework of the 16th INNOPROM International Industrial Exhibition, Aleksandr Petrov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Medsintez Plant LLC and Chairman of the Committee for Entrepreneurship in Healthcare and Medical Industry of the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry, took part in two key events of the business program. At the Sverdlovsk Region stand, a panel discussion Balance of Control and Support: Practice of Confirming the Production of Russian Industrial Products was held, where Aleksandr Petrov presented the standpoint of industrial enterprises in relation to the review of applications under Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 719.

The Association of Medical and Pharmaceutical Manufacturers of the Sverdlovsk Region, a collective member of the Ural Biomedical Cluster, has participated in the CHEMTECH URAL, first specialised forum and exhibition, held from May 26 to 28 in the Ekaterinburg-EXPO International Exhibition Centre. The organization acted as an industry partner for the event, bringing together key players from the pharmaceutical and chemical sectors of the region at its joint booth.

Pharmaceutical Chemistry: Towards Full-Cycle Production round table discussion was held as part of the business program at ChemTech Ural 2026. Alexander Petrov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Medsintez Plant LLC, was the keynote speaker at the event.
