The Association of Medical and Pharmaceutical Manufacturers of the Sverdlovsk Region, a collective member of the Ural Biomedical Cluster, has participated in the CHEMTECH URAL, first specialised forum and exhibition, held from May 26 to 28 in the Ekaterinburg-EXPO International Exhibition Centre. The organization acted as an industry partner for the event, bringing together key players from the pharmaceutical and chemical sectors of the region at its joint booth.
Pharmaceutical Chemistry: Towards Full-Cycle Production round table discussion was held as part of the business program at ChemTech Ural 2026. Alexander Petrov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Medsintez Plant LLC, was the keynote speaker at the event.
Medsintez Plant, one of Russia's leading manufacturers of insulins and drugs for the therapy of socially significant diseases, traditionally participated in the 11th (32nd) National Congress of Endocrinologists with International Participation. The event, themed Personalized Medicine in Endocrinology: From Fundamental Science to Clinical Practice, took place from 26 to 29 May in Moscow.
In 2025, the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, Denis Vladimirovich Pasler, signed a decree awarding the Regional Head's Certificate of Honour to Alexey Borisovich Podkorytov, CEO of Medsintez Plant LLC.
