From April 15 to 18, Ekaterinburg hosted the 6th international specialized exhibition and forum Healthcare of the Urals–2025. This year, 130 companies from 34 cities of Russia and the Republic of Belarus took part in the event, presenting over 1000 units of medical equipment and goods. The residents of the Ural Biomedical Cluster were traditionally among the participants, as well as its collective member – the Association of Medical and Pharmaceutical Manufacturers of the Sverdlovsk Region.
The opening of the exhibition was attended by the Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region – Tatyana Savinova, the Minister of Health of the Region, Sergey Perestoronin, the Minister of Industry and Science of the Sverdlovsk Region, and Andrey Besedin, the President of the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Tatyana Savinova emphasized the importance of the forum as a platform for exchanging experiences, strengthening cooperation between business and government, and finding solutions for the development of the industry.
One of the memorable moments was a meeting with Olympic champion Roman Kostomarov, who shared the story of his recovery from a serious disease and thanked the doctors for their work. The event brought together more than 300 guests.
The booth of the Association presented 18 leading Ural companies specialized in the production of medical and pharmaceutical products able to replace imported analogues. These companies operate in accordance with high quality standards, invest in research and development and fully meet the needs of the Sverdlovsk Region in socially significant areas of healthcare.
Visitors could see samples of products from the Association’s members, including Medsintez Plant, Tronitech, Medin-N, Vector-MS and UralNanotech. Medin-Ural, Zavod EMA, Ural Instrument-Making Plant, Otdel Meditsinskoi Tekhniki, RASTER and Plant of Medical Technologies presented their products at separate booths.
The pharmaceutical company Medsintez Plant presented its latest developments at the Association’s booth, including the world’s first registered recombinant human albumin drug, the drug for treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus Semaglutide, and drugs for treatment of infertility – hCG and Cetrorelix. Also, the original Russian antiviral drug Triazavirin, effective for treatment of influenza, acute respiratory viral infections and COVID-19, genetically engineered and analog human insulin Rosinsulin, the first Russian follitropin alpha drug for treatment of human infertility Primapur, and the first Russian veterinary insulins Vinsuvet were presented at the booth.
The Tronitech company presented a line of physiotherapy devices for professional and home use: the pain-relieving device NEURODENS-Akson, the cosmetology device NEURODENS-COSMO, the device for treatment of hypertension and normalization of blood pressure NEURODENS-Cardio, as well as the electrical stimulator NEURODENS-AXIS for the neck and collar area. The product range of the company includes a whole line of devices for physiotherapy based on 2 technologies – dynamic electrical neurostimulation (DENS) and neuron-like dynamic electrical neurostimulation (NEURODENS).
At the booth of the Association, the Medin-N company showed a unique for Russia production of absorbable surgical suture materials. The company offers more than two thousand combinations of absorbable and non-absorbable surgical sutures, as well as needles of various lengths and diameters. The booth also featured a line of medical products: a set for infusion into the small veins of newborns, an endoloop for laparoscopic operations, needles for transvaginal follicle puncture.
The manufacturing company Vector-MS successfully demonstrated its products at the booth. The company presented the EKS-VP-3 Vector-MS pacemaker for temporary cutaneous, transesophageal and endocardial electrical stimulation of the heart in emergency care for patients with severe bradycardia who are in serious condition due to extensive myocardial damage with severe disorders of central hemodynamics.
Innovative products under DEZITALL trademark were presented at the exhibition by the developer and manufacturer Ural Nanotechnology Center. The products are intended to protect against the transmission and development of infections. DEZITALL has successfully passed long-term field tests and is widely used in medical institutions of the Russian Federation. The formula of the skin antiseptic DEZITALL A allows application thereof to prevent coronavirus COVID-19 and other viral infections.
OOO Medin-Ural presented a wide range of surgical instruments at its booth. The company has been manufacturing and developing a wide range of medical products for more than 30 years: implants and instruments for neurosurgery and spinal surgery, as well as instruments for microsurgery and ophthalmology. Innovative materials and special alloys from the world's leading manufacturers are used for production.
Zavod EMA, the leader among manufacturers of LED medical lamps in Russia, presented at its booth EMALED medical lamps designed to illuminate the surgical field during surgical operations, diagnostic studies and dressings. The key component of the EMALED line of lamps is the LED technology – LED bundles, which, unlike traditional incandescent lamps, are not heat emitters and have high color rendering quality with a service life of up to 60,000 hours.
At the booth of the Ural instrument-engineering plant, one could see a line of artificial lung ventilation devices. Including the artificial lung ventilation device Mobivent with a turbine drive for stationary use, the compact device Mobivent OXY for high-flow oxygen therapy in adult and pediatric patients, and the device Mobivent ARM for transporting patients (adults and children, weighing from 2 to 300 kg). The company is also a manufacturer of central monitoring stations.
Otdel Meditsinskoi Tekhniki presented at its booth a high-tech functional bed designed for use in intensive care units. The main products of the company are medical and office furniture. In 2019, the development of projects began to launch the manufacture of plastic medical products: breathing circuits and filters.
The variety of products attracted the attention of exhibition visitors to the booth of the RASTER company, a developer and manufacturer of disinfectants, skin antiseptics and liquid soap, as well as aerosol equipment for volumetric disinfection. RASTER is a major wholesale supplier of modern disinfectants for healthcare facilities, enterprises of collective users and food industry.
The Medical Technologies Production Plant – one of the leading manufacturers of disposable medical products in Russia – presented a wide range of disposable surgical sets of linen and clothing, medical bags, disposable medical products for laboratories and plastic medical products –vacuum test tubes for collecting venous blood, for collecting urine, unfilled, double-sided needles for collecting venous blood with a visual chamber, a holder for vacuum blood collection systems and microtubes for collecting capillary blood.
Medical specialists who visited the exhibition highly appreciated the quality and variety of the products presented. Representatives of medical manufacturing companies expressed their interest in joining the Association, which promotes the coordination of manufacturers' efforts, interaction with government bodies, and products on the market with the support of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Industry and Science of the Sverdlovsk Region.
The Association, together with the Ural Biomedical Cluster, continues to play a key role in the development of the medical and pharmaceutical industry in the Region, strengthening its position at both the local and federal levels.
