On November 26, 2022, the Medsintez Plant took part in the Scientific and Practical Conference of Pediatric Endocrinologists of the Sverdlovsk Region From Clinical Cases to Innovative Projects, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the endocrinology department of the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital. Leading experts of Russia in the field of healthcare and endocrinology took part in the conference. At the exhibition of domestic pharmaceutical manufacturers, held within the framework of the conference, the Medsintez Plant presented analogue human insulin preparations Rosinsulin®. Doctors – pediatric endocrinologists and endocrinologists of healthcare organizations of the Sverdlovsk Region, the Ural Federal District and other regions of Russia noted the plant's contribution to the drug safety of the country.

On November 19, 2022, the Medsintez Plant, which has the highest FSH production capacity in the world, held a grand opening of the workshop for the production of biotechnological substances for women's reproductive health. Since 2018, the Medsintez Plant, in cooperation with iVFarma, has been producing the first Russian preparation of recombinant follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) for the treatment of human infertility – Primapur®. The Medsintez Plant produces the substance of this drug and the finished dosage form in pre-filled disposable syringe pens.

On September 12, a press conference was held at the press center of the Interfax News Agency in Ekaterinburg, dedicated to the epidemiological situation, as well as new research on the treatment of acute respiratory viral infections in children in the Sverdlovsk Region. At the moment, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, comparative, placebo-controlled clinical trials of the efficacy and safety of Triazavirin in 12-17 year old children with ARVI diagnosis have been completed.

From September 5 to 8, 2022, the IX (XXVIII) National Diabetes Congress with international participation Diabetes Mellitus and Obesity – the Non-Infectious Interdisciplinary Pandemics of the 21st Century was held in Moscow, organized by the Russian Association of Endocrinologists and the Federal State Budgetary Institution National Medical Research Center for Endocrinology of the Ministry of Health of Russia. Among the leading domestic and foreign companies producing medicines, the Medsintez Plant presented its main products at the booth – preparations of genetically engineered and analogue human insulin Rosinsulin.

On August 29, 2022, Sergey Perestoronin, the Minister of Industry and Science of the Sverdlovsk Region, and Andrey Shastin, the Deputy Minister of Health of the Sverdlovsk Region, together with the Association of Medical and Pharmaceutical Manufacturers of the Sverdlovsk Region visited the production facility of OOO Medin-N, a recognized leader in the production of surgical needles and sutures in Russia, and also discussed the possibility of scaling up the production of absorbable medical polymers to provide the country with absorbable surgical sutures made in the Urals.

The issue of replacing imported goods with their domestic counterparts is particularly acute for Russia today: the large-scale sanctions imposed against the Russian Federation recently have gone “live”. At the same time, there are enterprises in the Urals that have been working for a long time under the import substitution program and, perhaps, have prepared better than others for the events that have come: about one of these productions — in the “Federalpress” material.

On June 3, 2022, Vyacheslav Yakovlevich Tyumentsev, Head of the Novouralsk Urban District, visited the production facilities of the Medsintez Plant and discussed plans for future cooperation with the management of the enterprise aimed at developing and improving the social life of the town. During the visit, Vyacheslav Yakovlevich noted the high-tech production of vital medicines of the plant, its capacity, high potential for expanding and creating new import-substituting medicines, components necessary for the country's pharmaceutical industry under the sanctions policy of Western countries. The head of the NUD expressed gratitude on behalf of the Administration for the confidence in the drug safety of the district and the country as a whole.

В ближайшее время социальная инфраструктура самого многочисленного района Екатеринбурга «Академический», границы которого определены в 2021 году, пополнится новым важным объектом. 1 июня в День защиты детей состоялось торжественное открытие педиатрического отделения № 3 «Первой детской поликлиники».

18 мая 2022 года «Уральский биомедицинский кластер» поддержал добрую традицию участия во всероссийском конкурсе молодежных авторских проектов в сфере образования «Моя страна – моя Россия». Экспертом в номинации «Мое здоровье» выступил исполнительный директор Кластера Власов Владимир Васильевич. Номинация проводилась при поддержке Министерства здравоохранения РФ и Уральского государственного медицинского университета Минздрава России.

С 12 по 15 апреля на площадке МВЦ «Екатеринбург-Экспо» прошла Международная специализированная выставка-форум «Здравоохранение Урала – 2022», на которой были вновь представлены стенды компаний-участников «Уральского биомедицинского кластера». Всего в экспозиционной части выставки-форума было представлено 120 участников из 35 городов России — это более 600 единиц современного медицинского оборудования, а также новинки расходных материалов, фармацевтики, средств дезинфекции, санитарии и гигиены, медицинская мебель и одежда. В этом году на официальном открытии выставки приняли участие министр здравоохранения России Михаил Мурашко, полномочный представитель Президента России в Уральском федеральном округе Владимир Якушев и вице-губернатор Свердловской области Олег Чемезов.

15 февраля 2022 года Минздрав России опубликовал федеральные клинические рекомендации по лечению «Острых респираторных вирусных инфекций (ОРВИ) у взрослых» (ID:724 в рубрикаторе клинических рекомендаций Минздрава РФ). Одним из трех препаратов этиотропной терапии ОРВИ стал противовирусный препарат «Триазавирин». Что подтвердило признание препарата со стороны научного сообщества и доказательной медицины.

В интервью журналу «В мире науки» вице-президент Российской академии наук Владимир Чехонин рассказал об успехах российской науки. Речь шла о создании диагностических методов, лекарств и вакцин. Господин Чехонин отметил неоценимый вклад врачей – членов отделения медицинских наук РАН в создании методических протоколов и рекомендаций, помогающих решать проблемы, с которыми сталкивается медицинское сообщество в борьбе с новой коронавирусной инфекцией.

В условиях тяжелой эпидемиологической ситуации аптеки Москвы обязали ежедневно отчитываться по наличию ряда препаратов в Департамент здравоохранения.
