The Association of Medical and Pharmaceutical Manufacturers of the Sverdlovsk Region has joint the Ural Biomedical Cluster

In 2023, the Ural Biomedical Cluster admitted a collective member – the Association of Medical and Pharmaceutical Manufacturers of the Sverdlovsk Region.

Nonprofit Organization the Association of Medical and Pharmaceutical Manufacturers of the Sverdlovsk Region is a professional association of enterprises engaged in the development and manufacture of medical and pharmaceutical products. The enterprises that are part of the Association have many years of experience in the development and manufacture of high-tech medical equipment, high-quality medical devices and world-class pharmaceutical products.

The Association was established in August 2018 at the suggestion and with the support of the Minister of Health of the Sverdlovsk Region A.I. Tsvetkov and the Ministry of Industry and Science of the Sverdlovsk Region.

Currently, the Association includes 17 member companies, the production facilities of which are able to cover 100% of the needs of the Sverdlovsk Region in many of the most socially significant areas of regional healthcare, including:

- modern drugs – genetically engineered insulin and analogues of human insulin Rosinsulin®, innovative antiviral drug Triazavirin®, recombinant human follicle-stimulating hormone Primapur®, solutions for automated apheresis, infusion solutions;

- equipment and consumables for hospitals, intensive care, neonatal, professional physiotherapy, hemodialysis departments;

- medical equipment for artificial ventilation of the lungs, for patients with cardiovascular diseases, for the pain management;

- unique instruments, suture surgical materials with absorbable effect for microsurgery, ophthalmology, neurosurgery, for rehabilitation in traumatology, for use in the IVF (in vitro fertilization) procedure;

- production and supply of radioisotope products, expert solutions in the field of medical radiology;

- skin antiseptics, a unique long-acting antimicrobial coating Dezitol® for surgery; disinfectants and equipment for disinfection;

- medical furniture and laboratory equipment, etc.

Creation and implementation of new technologies, continuous scientific research, high standards of manufactured products that have passed technical and clinical tests, certification, allow us to successfully compete in the market with products from leading foreign manufacturers.

The Association was created with the aim of uniting the efforts of individual enterprises and organizations of the Sverdlovsk Region in ensuring coordination and effective interaction of market participants, consolidating scientific, production and management potentials.

The merger of the two largest organizations in the field of regional healthcare is aimed at creating a high-tech complex of interconnected production and infrastructure facilities for development, production and sale of modern medicines, medical equipment and high-quality medical devices in the Urals region.
