The Medsintez Plant establishes cooperation with the United Arab Emirates

The Medsintez Plant has participated in an international business meeting with the delegation from the United Arab Emirates as part of the INNOPROM 2024 business program in Ekaterinburg. The meeting with representatives of the national Ministry of Industry, pharmaceutical and medical industries of the UAE was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the UAE, representatives of Globalpharma, SayGen, Hayat Biotech, Abu Dhabi Medical Devices.

Among the leading Russian medical and pharmaceutical manufacturers, the Medsintez Plant presented its products and the capabilities of the enterprise. The plant's portfolio includes drugs for the treatment of diabetes mellitus, such as genetically engineered and analogue human insulins, veterinary insulins, GLP-1 analogues; drugs for the treatment of human infertility used in the ART complex, such as recombinant FSH, as well as recombinant HCG, Cetrorelix and Ganirelix being under development; and also the world's first registered drug of recombinant human albumin, the innovative antiviral drug Triazavirin for the treatment of influenza, ARVI and COVID-19; infusion solutions and solutions for automated apheresis.

During the discussions, agreements were reached on eventual cooperation between the Medsintez Plant and Arab companies, including the prospects for joint business and distribution, as well as localization of the enterprise’s products in the UAE with willingness to transfer the technology, which will require assistance in finding a partner on the part of the UAE Ministry of Industry. The Medsintez Plant is interested in fruitful cooperation with the United Arab Emirates and is ready to provide comprehensive assistance in the development of relations between the companies.

Holding INNOPROM 2024 is a strategically important step towards creating the most favorable conditions for the development of trade and economic relations between Russia and the United Arab Emirates. Opening the strategic session, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin emphasized the special nature of friendly relations between Russia and the UAE. Mutual commercial exchange at the end of last year reached a record level, approaching 1 trillion rubles.
